What kind of coincidence provoked the conception of Halden Rock – only a few will ever know:) Before Edquist Industries even existed, we’ve been booking rock and metal concerts without labeling them in any particular way. Yet on this occasion things were about to turn out a bit differently…

Friday 8.11.2019 was a very important day for the music milieu in Halden, Norway. That evening at Vannvogna Konsert og Kunsthall by Storgata 16, in the very center of the town the first concert under the name of Halden Rock took place.

Two bands have performed that evening before the not-so-numerous public of around 50 visitors. The first on stage were the local rockers – The Boogietraps. If you’re from Halden, you most probably know those rascals and their style of playing: straight to the point and energetic. The boys gave a nice show – a live video from their performance can be found HERE.
The stars of the evening – The SUiCiDE BOMBERS have just started the tour promoting their new record “Murder Couture”. Chris Damien Doll and Co. performed a nearly 80-minutes-long set containing songs off of all 4 albums!
Great sound, nice show and TONS of smoke definitely made the gig memorable 🙂
All in all, Halden Rock Vol. 1 was a very nice rock & roll evening with cool bands, nice atmosphere and… the first snowfall that season!
